Air Ducts

The ducts are a major and indispensable element of any ventilation installation and some air conditioning installation. Ducts are the main "suppliers" of fresh air. Through them also the exhaust premises air pollution is led. In air conditioning systems they are used for transportation of air recirculation.The ducts are constructed of straight and fitting parts for the construction of which are used various materials consistent with the specific application area and the operating conditions, as well as the architecture and construction of the building. Among the most commonly used materials for air ducts are the different types of iron sheets. Ducts are usually made of galvanized or black iron sheets and when the ducts are intended for transport of corrosive gases, aluminum or copper sheets are primarily used. Ducts can also be made from synthetic materials based on polypropylene, polyurethane, etc. Recently, for ventilation and air conditioning systems widely are being used flexible pipes.

Rectangular Air Ducts

The rectangular ducts are made of galvanized iron sheets with thickness 0.63, 0.82, 1.0, 1.2 mm, depending on the perimeter. To avoid vibrations during work, the sheets are cross-ribbed.

By special requests could be produced air ducts with electrostatic painting. Joining of air ducts is arranged with flanges produced of Europrofile. Flanges are congested by gasket of micro-pore rubber band. For additional sealing clamps can be used. Air ducts are installed with rods and supporting profile or with mounting tape. Air ducts are thermal insulated with mineral wool, double-masked with aluminum foil. Fittings (bendings,joints, T-branches,S-connectors, etc) are also produced of galvanized metal sheets with different thickness depending on the perimeter. Accession – is done with flanges made of Euro profile.

Flexible Air Ducts

The flexible ducts are designed to transport air in the ventilation and air conditioning systems. There are two types: isolated and non-isolated.

Non-isolated represent a four-layer air channel made of two layers of aluminum foil and two layers of polyester foil, in which a steel spring is integrated. The minimum bend radius along the axis of the duct is Rmin = 1,5 D.

Isolated: on the described non-isolated fleksible is laid fiberglass insulation with a thickness of 25 mm, coated with a laminate of polyester and aluminum foil. Minimum bend radius along the axis of the duct: Rmin = 1,5 D.
